As lockdown has begun to ease, we have been working hard to put the processes and procedures in place to allow our foodbank centres to reopen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>The Centres<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are now in a position to safely open the following foodbank centres:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>EH4<\/li><li>EH5<\/li><li>EH11<\/li><li>EH12<\/li><li>EH15<\/li><li>EH16<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Broughton (opening w\/c 14 September 2020)<\/li><li>Grassmarket (opening w\/c 14 September 2020)<\/li><li>Prestonfield (opening w\/c 14 September 2020)<\/li><li>Tollcross (open)<\/li><li>South Queensferry (open)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For updated opening times and locations please visit the locations page&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/edinburghnw.foodbank.org.uk\/locations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As not all of our centre are ready to reopen we continue to provide a delivery service to the following postcodes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>COVID procedures at the Centres<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At each of the centres there will be strict COVID guidance in place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before entering the centre:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Queue outside the building (like at the supermarkets)<\/li><li>Provide Test and Protect information to the host volunteer (people can opt not to)<\/li><li>Wear a face mask (EFP can provide disposable masks if needed)<\/li><li>Sanitise their hands (sanitiser provided by EFP)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While in the centre:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>There are 4 stations:<ul><li>Admin<\/li><li>Food parcel<\/li><li>Toiletries and extras<\/li><li>Leaflets<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Only one person is allowed at each station at a time, to allow for 2m between clients \u2013 there will be X marked on the floor to show where people should stand.<\/li><li>Stations with volunteers, will have 2 tables \u2013 to allow 2m between the volunteers and clients<\/li><li>Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer tea\/coffee and a place to sit and chat.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Broughton<\/td><td>Mon 13:00-15:00Thurs 13:00-15:00<\/td><td>Broughton St Mary\u2019s Parish Church<br>Bellevue Crescent<br>EH3 6NE<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Grassmarket<\/td><td>Tues 14:00-16:00Fri 14:00-16:00<\/td><td>St Columba\u2019s by the Castle14 Johnston TerraceEH1 2PW<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Prestonfield<\/td><td>Wed 13:30-15:30<\/td><td>Priestfield Parish Church<br>2 Marchhall Place<br>EH16 5HW<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-coblocks-accordion\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-coblocks-accordion-item\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We Are Reopening 8th September 2020 5 months ago we took the decision to close our foodbank centres and provide a next day delivery service, to protect our clients and volunteers.&nbsp;
