Use your voice to shape Scotland’s plan to end the need for food banks<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the run up to the 2021 Holyrood elections, the Trussell Trust asked all candidates to deliver an action plan to end the need for food banks. Thanks to your support, every political party listened and agreed to act. The Scottish Government have now launched a public consultation on how we end the need for food banks in Scotland which you can access here<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 This is a huge opportunity to shape the Scottish Government\u2019s national plan and make sure it is bold enough to end the need for food banks in Scotland.  We want to see a plan that ensures everyone can afford the essentials, helps local services work together to ensure people get the right support at the right time, and involves people with direct experience of poverty and local food banks. This plan could also help inform future policy decisions across other nations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The consultation runs until 25th January and we need you to share your experience and ideas about what practical steps Scotland can take to end the need for emergency food.  To make this is as easy as possible, the Trussell Trust have simplified the consultation and suggested some things to say in our action link<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
